UX50 only for right handed people?
 

I was looking some snapshots of the new UX50 Clie, and i notice that the graffiti section is located at the right right, can it be changed to the other side?

Yes. I believe it's in the prefs.

If i remember correctly, there's a few issues with some apps running in "lefty" mode. There certainly are with the UX-50 simulator. It's an issue for me too, as i'm a lefty. i really wish the hole for the strap was on the other side, curse you righties!!

i'm a lefty too, but i prefer using my right hand on my clie. i think it is more comfortable

left handers are like mac users.. easy to forget..

There are some issues with Zlauncher for instance...
Anyway if you are lefty you can not use the Jog dial anymore... But it is not so bad as it is really a shame and not useful...

I disagree, I have been holding it with my right hand for one handed operation, it is much more comfortable.. but I do have big hands

i take it lack of jog dial support is limited to Zlauncher?

Well no, but it seems you can not use (physically) the jog dial if you are lefty :)
But ZLauncher supports the Jog dial of course...

i'd expect to hold it in my right hand as i use the stylus with my left. Seems like i'd be able to use the jog dial with my left thumb, but i guess i'll just have to wait and see.

did you know over 1,700 left handed people get injured every year from using products made for right handed people and somewhere around 250 die from using right handed products.

a good example would be a chain saw if you are left handed and grip the saw with your left hand there is nothing to grip with your right becuase the grip is on the other side. just look at a chainsaw and see for yourself.

Left-handers are like mac users...in need of a conversion. :D
