Well, I was afraid it was something like that. Them's the breaks, I guess. Thanks for the reply . . . |

The way the option "24H on face" of the Classic clock in Watchmaker works, I can do it in BellTime also. Jaap |
Thanks - that would be sweet! |
If Belltime can support MIDI tones created by MiniTones, that will be perfect I think, because we can use free MiniTones to convert any MP3 rington into Treo, if this format can be supported, we don't even need Belltime to play MP3 on card by 3rd part software. It is not very difficult I guess, because Treo 6XX/Centro build-in ringtone management software can support it original. :) |

I guess the question is: Does BellTime support multichannel MIDI on devices that support it (like the Treos)? Otherwise, using the PalmOS-standard single channel MIDI won't really work well for converted MP3. Of course, supporting MOD (tracker) formats would be neat too :) |

I covert a MP3 file into the RAM by MiniTones on my Centro, both build-in sound&alerts setting program and Butler can recognize and using it, but Belltime can not.... :( In RAM, this file named as 'Ton-[name you defined]', ext name is 'MP3f' and creator ID is 'HsTo'. |

Jaap, I just want to confirm this will be done in a future release/update, and to just sit back and be patient - correct? The more I use BellTime, the more I like it. For the record, I use 2 daily timers, one count down timer, and the flash timer, everyday for separate events. Truly helps me keep track of stuff that I gotta do everyday. Thanks for a terrific program . . . |
Test_WZ : _Em and me understood your initial question as converting MP3 to MIDI. Playing MP3 from RAM is something different and I've to look into it, to see if it is worth implementing. Blackfeet : Yeah, 24 hours on the clockface will be in the next version. I'm working on the interface to set all those gadgets like battery meter, 24 hours mode etc. The UI will look like the color setting, with the difference, if you tap a dot the underlying gadget toggles. So it's just a matter of tapping the dots until you'r satified with what you see, and tap OK. Thanks for you feedback. I like hearing how BellTime is used! Jaap |

Most impressive application. I'm very tempted to buy, except that there's still one very useful thing that my current alarm can do, but this one can't (my current alarm application is Clock+, but unfortunately it's no longer available - but fortunately, the registration code isn't device specific, so it has migrated with me from one Palm device to the next). Using Clock+ you can set up an alarm to go off on selected days of the week, and you can optionally SPECIFY A STARTING DATE AND AN END DATE. Which means that if I know I'm going to have to get up an hour earlier for a few days (eg because of a conference), as soon as I become aware of this I can set the alarm to go off at that particular time for the days in question. Similarly, last Monday was a public holiday in the UK, so on the previous Friday, after my morning alarm had sounded, I changed its starting date to last Tuesday, so that I wouldn't be woken up on Monday. Is this something that could be added to BellTime? |
That's something I've long wished for - flexible alarm settings, just as is possible to set in a calendar. I work alternating days and nights, a week of days, week of nights, rinse and repeat. I would love the ability to set an alarm for 6AM this week, and 6PM the next week, and continue that alternation, without having to remember to set the alarm every day. |
