How do I set the eggtimer? Up and down buttons skip the eggtimer on my Centro. Thanks.

You can tap one of the numbers on the dial plate. Tap the same number in sequence to increase seconds.

5-Way navigation for egg timer and flash alarm is coming.

BellTime 0.42 is out now with a couple of bug fixes and a new expiration date; it's the last beta. Next coming up is version 1.0. with some of the new features I promised in this thread...

Hi Jaap, I've got another feature request:
Would it be possible to have 4 quadrant timer buttons you could put preset time lengths into that would show up on the alert circle?
Usage as follows:
1) set up the four values for, say, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes and "enable timer/alarm/stopwatch #2". When the alarm is triggered, you can dismiss it or press one of those buttons (which dismisses it and performs the appropriate action).

Does this sound doable?

Jaap Steilberg 05-26-2008 03:19 PM

Hi _Em, yeah the idea with the first three buttons is already my list: Decide at wake up time how long to snooze. (Just the decision taking "what button do I tap this morning" would definitely wake me up :-) But for sure a good feature. With button 4 you probably want to pick an other or a louder sound. I'll think about that one. It is just all for a later date.

Actually, I was thinking of linking to one of the other preset elements in the app, not selecting a different sound. For instance, you could link it to a countdown timer, a stopwatch, another alarm that gets enabled, etc.

_Em: OK, the slot you trigger could have any tool.

Exactly what I was thinking of! :D

I looked through this Thread again and can't find this 'simple' request.

Could we have the day (eg: Sunday) on the screen ? There seems to be plenty of room on the top bar in beween Date/Time and Freeware/123

Even the TX popup clock doesn't show the day and sometimes I just don't know what day it is (sad but true :D )

I have been a long time user and recommender of WatchM.
It's simple Analog clock with Day, Date, Time, 2 Alarms/Timers, the fantastic Rocket Alarm and Battery meter has been all I needed but BellTime also has Stopwatch so it is getting a workout now :)

All the best, woz of oz

Hi wozofoz, you can try it like this:

First slot is "set time and date". In the header something like Su for Sunday would be possible. I've also some other plans for the header, where I need room.

Thanks for the quick reply
I tried putting 'Set Date and Time' on the screen but one slip of the thumb starts the # flashing and, well you get the picture.
I guess I can train myself better.

Also one of the important uses of WatchM for me is to use Accessorizer to make a WatchMDA so I can use the Timers while doing other stuff.
If I make a BellTimeDA I must first use the 'Force 5 Slot on Hi-Res' pref (is this ok to do on a TX?)
If I don't the BellTimeDA does not respond to taps (although the seconds are ticking) and I can't use any HardButtons or Power Button so I must do a Soft Reset to get it off the screen.

If I use the 'Force 5 Slot on Hi-Res' then the BellTimeDA works fine but then using the Analog Clock means there is only room left for one slot.

So it's no problem, I shall manage and thanks again for great software :)

All the best, woz of oz

I plan to make a switch in the header, so you can lock the screen.

Sure, with this option BellTime runs like on a device with square screen.

Hmm, this WatchM is a strong competitor....

Good Morning (here at least) Jaap,

First off, thanks for a great product to go along with my Treo. As a Diabetic, I use the alarms not only for waking up, but blood test reminders, meal reminders, etc. Truly a daily assistant, thus I just purchased your 1.0 release.

I also work on a 24-hour clock for a Govt. agency, and that brings me to my request. In a future build/release, would it be possible to get included a feature similar to your WatchM where the 24-hour clock would display 13:00 on up after noon? That is a great visual feature.

AND, just how did you get so much on your image above? I can only get the Header, the Analog Clock, and 1 alarm to display. I have "Force 5 Slots on HiRes+ devises", but it did not make a difference. I am using it on a Treo 700p, and it has a HighRes screen (I think).

Thanks again . . .
