I've already installed the Camera fix without any improvement. So I figured a re-calibration of the battery would help.

I decided to do a complete factory reset before a battery recalibration. I plugged in the charger, removed battery waited 1 min, removed sim waited 1 min then reinserted the battery. I don't know why but the Radio turned on and tells me to check my sim card. I didn't press anything, I just left is over night at least 6hours. Is there a setting that I am suppossed to enable/disable so that my phone does not turn its radio on after I reinsert the battery? Is the radio turning on a reason why the calibration did not work?

I still have horrible battery life and when I charge it over night it comes off the charger saying it only has 93% battery. It has been only 5 hours since I removed it from the charger and its already at 76% battery, no bluetooth, no data, and under 5min to voice calls.

I take my phone off the cardle with 93% too (hell knows why) but my batterylife dramatically improved after the patch. It is now roundabout 48 hours after patching and i just connected to the wall after 23% charging left. The 48 h include moderate PIMing, approximatly 60 minits speech and about 20 SMS. Bluetooth always on, IR off... that´s OK

I find it only charges to 93 to 95%. But my battery life is now excellent. I can go two or more days between charges. I'm not a heavy Treo user though. I do find that I'll let it trickle charge when I sync it at the end of the day so it really always has a pretty full charge.

Before recalibrating the battery am I supposed to completely drain the battery?

No that's not necessary.

So how do I get re-calibrate my treo battery properly? It keeps switching on the Phone Radio.

After the 6hours or so of charging, how do I re-insert my sim card?
Do I first unplug the Treo from the charger then remove the battery?
or
Do I first remove the battery to insert the simcard then unplug it from the charger?

I just want to make sure I'm doing process properly.
