I'm out

Yep. I'm selling my VZ90. I'm kind of having a financial crisis right now... :(
Trying to get rid of my more expensive stuff. So that means I am selling my 2GB Memory Stick Pro San-Disk Ultra 2. Check for my ad in the classifieds (which will be up a few minutes from this post)

EDIT: http://www.1src.com/classifieds/sho...php?product=812
Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...em=220058185521
(updated, old eBay link didn't sell)

Thats a shame. Oh well.

Hmm $800 US???

Granted they are not available outside of Japan and you need the money but its a bit high, maybe you should lower the price to make the auction price more appealing for a 2nd hand unit. Also do you have a flash on your camera? Bit hard to see the unit itself besides the OLED screen.

Hope it works out for you.

Well, that is including a SanDisk Ultra II 2GB MemoryStick Pro (aka, the most expensive kind) and maybe a 512MB CF card. Some (almost) new ones are going for about $900, so $100 less and about $200 of stuff thrown in. :)

will u ship across the pond

The Mad Dog 11-30-2006 02:02 PM

shame on you lying about the battery lifetime. You cant use the VZ90 with WiFI enabled for 6 hours an still have ~90%

dragonsgames 11-30-2006 03:49 PM

Yes I did! I was constantly refreshing the Yahoo! Mobile stock page ALL DAY and it was at ~90%
(oh, and BTW, I really don't like being called a liar)

1000:1 contrast ratio???? YOU SERIOUS!! DAM! I'd like to play some games on that. I thought 700:1 was sharp.

I really think you should have at least given people a chance to reach your target price instead of make it so that people had to go with 800. The best thing for anyone to do in that auction is buy it for 800. I still find it funny that the VZ is going for more than my laptop lol...

Exactly ;)

dragonsgames 12-02-2006 12:26 AM

Ok, I lowered the opening bid to $725. Bid away! ;)

JAmerican 12-02-2006 11:58 PM

Looks like the future has finally come for laptops. OLED screens here I come...

I think this isn't so big deal. Because I really believe that VZ battery does last so long as it does. Th55 battery is already very good and VZ with even bigger battery and oled screen + hhd or course it is high end product.

But still if you did have cache on when you were refreshing yahoo mobile page it did take the sites from the cache so it didn't load sites/kbs again from the internet. That leads to the point that VZ didn't need to use wlan because the sites were cached. So in theory some may get lower battery times when wlan is reall active all the time :o

dragonsgames 12-06-2006 06:29 PM

But if I refresh, doesn't it not load from cache? The numbers were updating... And one time I left it on overnight on accident, WiFi on and connected, and it was at 85%.
