I saw that, but how did they get it? How is it that I can already get it from some shady company?

I suppose that these are 'sample' phones that people can buy direct from Motorola.

Crap as in they don't have it?
Or crap as in it is a crap phone? A find the 100 song thing very disapointing, as it will turn away may buyers. Since it is still in the making, maybe they will fix it.

Something must be wrong with your friends ipod ... My ipod blows away any PDA I have ever owned when it comes to sound quality and volume.

just my observation, don't buy motorola phones because they depreciate so fast. like my razr v3. when i bought it, it was a 900 dollar phone, now they cheapened it to 99 for 3 years contract on rogers. whats actually great abotu this phone is the sound quality and reception. pricewise, dont buy this phone early.

All phones depreciate fast. The features that go into the phones change rapidly, battery life and signal strength, and features sets so greatly affect things that any phone goes from hundreds to under a hundred in a year plus.

Or sometimes less than that. A carrier can release a new version of the phone a couple weeks or months later... ;)

Any kind of technology, from PDAs to computers, to phones, if you buy it, stop looking.... it'll always be cheaper, or there will be something better soon. If you wait for the next thing, there will still be a next thing to follow, and again, and again. Just get what you need, pay what you can afford, and be satisfied you made the best choice you could at that time. :)
