Outlook conduits not appearing in Hotsync manager

Wife is using T3, Windows XP, and Outlook 2003.

She has been using her Palm and had been syncing her calendar with Eudora. Now her work has changed to Outlook 2003 and she wants to hotsync her Outlook 2003 calendar.

I went to Palm site and downloaded 4.1.4E and installed. I did choose that I wanted to use Outlook for syncing.

When running the Palm desktop it displays 4.1.4 version not 4.1.4E - I am assuming I have the correct version but it just doesn't display the E on the version.

Next in the Hotsync manager I do not see any Outlook conduits. I checked in the Palm folder and searched for "Outlook" and found several files named OutlookConduit.

So it appears they are there but the are not showing up in the Hotsync manager so I can configure them.

Looking at links on Palm site it seems to tell me that the T3 does use the Palm Outlook conduits and Pocketmirror is not needed.

So, I am stumped why the conduits are not appearing. I also uninstalled the Palm Desktop and reinstalled and still no Outlook conduits appearing in the Hotsync manager.

I ended up removing the Palm software and then reinstalling from the CD and then I ran an update from the Palm site related to the conduits.

They are now showing up in the Hotsync manager.
