Are NX60 and keyboard KB11 incompatible?

I've happily switched to the NX60, but instead of getting frustrated about these two not working together, have turned to you, the experts. Am I right in assuming the salesman was a bit off base in suggesting they would work?

I wasn't able to tell if it was the Palm OS 5 that didn't work with the keyboard OR... the NX60 itself.

It is a change in the circuitry inside the NX60. If you search here for somethign like "KB11 modification" you can find a guide that exlains how to modify the keyboard so that it will work with the NX series. Right now the only keyboard that will work with the NX without hardware modification is the Belkin G700. The drivers for the G700 under PalmOS 5 are still in beta stage.
