Hi.

I consider buying a new palm, still havn't decided yet wich on, TlX or TEl2.
My main purpose for using the device, is with AGENDUS software or maybe DATEBK5.

I heard people say that it's taking ages for Agendus to load and close the program and Datebk5 likewise.
What I need is a device that it is fast response with these softwares, maybe a zire72 will be a better option ?.

I,ll be glad if someone can check the time it takes for opening and closing the program datebk5 or agendus for a TlX or TEl2.

I need a snappy perfomance without a lag of more than a second for these apps I have heard of about 4 to 8 seconds, seems to much for a palm powerd device !,this is my main reason for working with palm
I know that it is a NVFS machine maybe looking towards an old palm will be wiser?.

Thanks in advance. :)

If you really need more instantaneous access, then a non-NVFS device is a better choice. My T3 running at 200MHz is faster than my T5 running at stock 416MHz. I don't have any experience with the Z72. It should be noted though, that if I only switch between DateBk and ZLauncher, DateBk opens just as fast as most other devices, after that initial open. If I use a bunch of programs, then yes, sometimes it does take a couple of seconds to load a program because it gets flushed from the DBCache.

edit: (And lay off the caffeine and give people time to reply before going nuts. )
