Sunday I purchased the Tungsten E2. Got it at Circuit City for $199 plus a $10 rebate for the web purchase. Picked it up at the store so I got it right away. This is to replace my Clie TG50 which I plan to sell on ebay. So far I really like it and everything has gone smoothly. I'm doing a clean install so its taking a little longer. In changing from one PDA to another through the years I've always preferred a clean install. I've beamed a couple of apps and that has gone well too. Very pleased with the E2. Screen is good, form factor is great and speed is very nice. Battery life seems to be pretty good also. And I thought the price was great. I had thought about the TX but thought it was over priced. I don't use a lot of the bells and whistles. Like the looks of the Z22 but I really need the expansion card. I carry the Collegiate dictionary, two bible translations, and several ebooks and I use Backupman to keep a backup on the card. So far I'm very happy with this PDA. I'm hooked on Sudoku and very happy to get the puzzle from Astraware. Great! I miss having a cradle but I've purchased one off ebay -- haven't received it yet. It seems like constantly plugging in the supplied cable would create a failure point at the connecter. A cradle for syncing and charging should take care of that.

Since posting on the wrong forum the other day, I have loaded and used all my software including ereader pro, My Bible, PassSV, Handy Shopper, Backupman, Pyramid, Yahtzee, and Sudoku and My Checkbook. The only one I had to download an updated version was Backup Man. Also have installed to the card, Websters 8th Collegiate dictionary, two bible translations and several ebooks. Have all the data reloaded into my Contacts, and date book.

Battery Life is great and I'm very happy with the E2.

Plan on selling the TG50, leather case, metal case, 128mb memory stick, cradle and installation CD for $75.00. Will list it on ebay this weekend. If any body is interested email me at bmcmail@bellsouth.net, I'll ship it free if you use Paypal. But I don't mean to digress--the real point of this email was to say how happy I am with the E2.

You fooled me. I thought you had some inner knowledge of a new Palm device (the E3 as indicated in the title). :)
