LD Rocks!

You know, the first few days of owning my LD I really did think of returning it. All sorts of crashes and lost or corrupted databases and the like. However now after 2 weeks of learning more about the unit and dumping sharkcache, I've found stability and am beginning to think of this PDA as the best I've ever owned (and I've owned a whole lot spanning all sort of different os's. Zoomer anyone?)

So I guess my question is, am I in the minority?

No, you're not. But after months of use you will find yourself hating the lag much more than at the beginning.

Even though I love my LD, I can't really argue with this :rolleyes: ... But I try to just keep it simple. Try to stick with the built-in launcher; I think replacing it with a 3rd party is the main source of the lags. Otherwise, it's pretty manageable.

Hi,

After using ZLauncher since I got my LD, I replaced it with HiLauncher, and the lag is gone. Very happy with the product so far. The main advantage of HiLauncher is that it can be called anywhere, for example with a long hard-button press. It will just pop up over any application. Excellent feature.

really hate the bulkiness and lags. thinking to get tx.

I don't have any 3rd party lunchers installed but still get much bigger lags than after a hardreset and unrestored LD. I susspect that every bigger app causes a bit of lag.
