Anyone have a write-up on dismantling the TG50, preferably with pictures. I have searched google and others, but came up empty.

I only need the steps necessary to take the back off. Removing the screws ist easy, but I don't want to use a lot of force dis-lodging the top part of the back from the plastic part that houses the memory stick.

Anything?

Nevermind. I got it done. It got a little tricky, and when prying up the mother board to make room for getting the battery out, the contact ribbon/tape that connectes to the back of the board (near the middle) came out. luckily that contact has a flip-lock and I was able to push it back in and still have functionality.

I did have a small clear plastic 'wedge' about .5"X.125" that fell out. Anyone know what this is for?

Sounds like you have this taken care of, I love taking my devices apart towards the end of their life, it's just neat to see what's inside.
