I have the router 2Wire that Telmex gives you on Mexico when you get DSL.
But my T|X cant connect to internet thru it. I can see the files on my computer, with the WiFileLT program you get with it, and can copy file from it to the palm, but when i enter Blazer, i get just a < Page cant be found > message and wont work.
Does someone have problems with similar routers? What can I do?
thanks

I have a 2Wire wireless DSL router in Puerto Rico, worked first time perfectly with the T|X.
You *may* have to enter settings manually...

Now that you said that, i tried with manual configuration and it didnt work either :-(
I have the router configured as DHCP and DNS, so, i've had 4 computers working on this router, all them at once, with no problem, two wireless, two wire, connected, surfing internet, copying files between all them, playing games, and no problem.
but then i try to suft the internet with my T|X and tells me that the server is not found, try to check mail on VersaMail, and wont work, use WiFile and wont work with server name, but with IP address.
so, looks like the router wont resolver names for my T|X, that i see on the configuration has no name, but will work well with IPs.
any suggestion?

I had the same problems with my T3 (and palm's Wi-Fi Card) and the 2Wire wireless modem...
This is the way I solved my issue:
It seems that you have to configure manually the DNS server addresses...If they're configured as "automatic" simply does not work...
You have some options:
Prodigy Móvil Hot-Spots:
200.33.146.194
200.33.146.202
2Wire Wireless Routers (the ones that prodigy gives you for your home ADSL connection):
1st. Option:
200.33.146.193
200.33.146.201
2nd. Option:
200.33.146.209
200.33.146.217
You have to configure it this way...
Go to Preferencias -->> Wi-Fi
http://amstelxp.blogspirit.com/images/medium_pmp4.jpg
Nombre de red (SSID): prodigymovil (in case you want to connect to a Hot-Spot) if not you leave it blank.
http://amstelxp.blogspirit.com/images/medium_pmp1.jpg
Now go to -->> detalles -->> we find a second screen where we have to introduce: Conectar a: Punto de acceso (infraestructura)
http://amstelxp.blogspirit.com/images/medium_pmp2.jpg
Then, go to -->> avanzadas -->> Dirección IP: leave it in automático -->> Servidor DNS: Change it to: Manual and write the DNS addresses provided above.

Hopefully this will help you, Prodigy help desk is of no help.....
