how do i reassign the icons on either side of the grafitti squares? i want to keep the home button but underneath it is one for pictures - which inever use - and then i def. don't need the icon for docs to go. i'd like to choose what those two are. any ideas?
also,i'm not used to this system (old t/t user) -- when i press the home icon, sometimes i get the nice white screen with icons like always and sometimes i get a weird long list of applications (looks like those pictures i always see of windows pdas) wit hthe icon on th eleft and the name to the right in a list. i don't want this view at all. is there a way to say goodbye?

Don't know if it is possible to edit side apps in the Classic DIA. Maybe someone will write a hack. I use the wide DIA and never look at these preconfigured choices. Two presses on Home hard button gets you the classic Launcher. Not sure if Favorites is removable to leave just the Classic launcher. I've gotten used to it and have rearranged to suit my needs for one-handed navigation when a long press on Home doesn't bring the app I want since it wasn't recently launched. It's been my experience that there are changes in each new product and some I love, others I ignore. Glad to have center hard button clock back. You could install a third party launcher.

When the graffiti area is displayed, press and hold the icon you want to change. A list of applications will come up. Select the one you want in that spot and it will appear there.
For the Favorites/Applications issue, go to Preferences and and select Buttons. Changes Favorites to Applications for the "home" icon. Now when you press the hard button or the home icon in the graffiti area it will always go to Applications instead of Favorites.

Reassigning the icons in the Graffiti area is simple. Just tap and hold on the icon you want to change. A list will appear of applications that you can place there.
Hitting home a second time will cause you to go to the Favorites list. Hit home or applications again and you will get to the standard launcher. To stop this feature, check out ButtonsEx at: http://www.payalba.com/download.php?rep=PalmPRC&&fic=ButtonsExTX
Hope this helps.
