This has been one of the more frustrating things I've ever done. On my computer it hangs at the "signing on" prompt, eventually timing out. On the laptop it connects, but then gives an error about a DNS lookup (which I read somewhere that I can fix by statically assigning an IP address to the TG instead of using DHCP). My question is, what am I doing wrong on the PC? Or on the laptop for that matter? I followed a guide that was written for the Tungsten which didn't seem to work, and all the searching I've done was either geared toward the Tungsten or getting the Clie to work thru a cellphone.

What Bluetooth dongle are you using. And are you using XP RAS or Mocha PPP?
Even without knowing these, I have a couple of suggestions:
Go to the software on your PC for the Bluetooth dongle you are using and be sure that the only service activated is Bluetooth Serial Port. Disable all the others, especially Network Access.
Make sure the Bluetooth Serial Port and your HotSync software aren't using the same port.
p.s. Shouldn't this go in the Bluetooth (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=52) forum?

i found i had so many problems with the belkin software so i unistalled this and replced it with widcom software.. i also updated mt BT MS drivers from sony, this means i never had to use mocha or ppp
you also have to make sure you set up the correct prefs in networks also and connections tab on your clie
i used the esato forum because the main problem i had was with bluetooth connections to my T68i but found it sorted the pc connections out too
