Ok I don't think I've seen this posted yet but I would like to know! Can the TX be overclocked? I want to hear from someone who's tried...from the looks of the specs it can't be overclocked but I need it cleared up before I buy it lol! TIA!!

It can be overclocked. I dont have one, but I have it from knowledgable sources that it should be easily overclockable. There are already some programs to do this being made available. Check out the forums at www.PalmPowerups.com

However, keep in mind that it uses a 312MHZ version of the CPU. Thus, there is a probability that you cant overclock it as much as you can do with a 400MhZ version!

I don't understand why you'd want to overclock the TX, it's fast enough:) I know we like having fast devices, but I've overclocked in the past and it doesn't make much of a difference, except to battery life.
Maybe it appears that battery life is only the issue but the CPU takes a lot of beating when you overclock. Take a look at PC overclockers, they use specialized fans, water, or even other chemicals.
The TX is fine as it is. No sense risking frying it ;)
