Looks like Microsoft almost got its hand slapped again by trying to force manufacturers to only use Media Player for their music devices.

Read about it here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9767717/

When will they ever learn?

Never. If you get caught, it's not like they get in trouble. The worst that ever happened was the DOJ threatened to split the company and Gates said he would simply close the company if he was asked to do that. Since he still owned majority stock, he could, so they backed off. Without any risk of punishment, they will always try these methods.

Exactly! Where does an 800 pound gorilla sleep? Anywhere it wants to.

The 800 pound gorilla has a massive internal infection, and is rotting at the core. So eventually it will die and all the vultures will eat its festering corpse. :)

And speaking of Microsoft, its "new" X"rushed"360 is locking up and crashing at the kiosk displays. :D Hmmmm, $400+ for one of these guaranteed bricks.

but I just saw at walmart they have wood looking face-plates for it.... so when you get an X-box you can also get a woody face-plate. that's all you need in life right?

It's for that simulated log look, for when its overheating and warming your home. :)

The best part about these problems that XToast is having, is that they were very predicitable and were predicted by many peeps on the web prior to its release.

My college-age son is not very excited about it (the X-Box). In fact, he just emailed me his Christmas list and (Jack will LOVE this), he wants a Nintendo Game Cube! Can you believe that? He's getting one for sure. Only $99? Are you kidding? What a deal! :)

Tis the best deal out there, besides the DS. :D

Get the Mario Party 7 bundle for $99. The game is great for up to 4 peeps, or 4 couples. Me and my friends are in our thirties and still play it often. :o

Nintendo focuses on quality fun games, where as Microsoft is only focusing on owning our living rooms and then collecting a tax.
