Can someone reccomend some good, loud head phones for the life drive. When i watch movies using TCPMP, they sound a little low. They dont sound as loud as my music. I convert my movies using PocketDVD. Maybe there is something i can fix in my preferences to make the movies louder, But im sure i have the appropriate settings.

Don't know if you've already tried it, but there's an option in Audio Preferences called Preamp (It's a slider) and if you drag it rightwards the volume will be augmented significantly.

I personally find the lifedrive sound output to be quite strong (which I believe is the source of the background noise that can be heard sometimes when there's no sound coming out.

Of course it might all be a problem with your video file, try to play the same movie in your pc and compare.

Senheiser PX100. They simply rocks.

Use a sound attenuator also. It will almost get rid of the hissing...

try the Shure e3. they are pricey, but you won't believe the sound quality.

I just picked up a pair of Sennheiser HD202s for $25 from www.headphone.com. Cheap and they sound great on the LD.
