Why isn't anyone comparing YiShow?

I have tried CRS Launcher, Zlauncher, Megalauncher, and Yishow.

Of the four, I like YiShow the best. There is so much functionality and a clean look. The custom skins and backgrounds. Plus it stores those on the MS! It's fast, has lots of info and help me launch programs easier. It supports launching from the MS and you can view some jpgs without a separate viewer. It also is supposed to be able to view test files. I admit I haven't gotten that to work yet.

I like some feautures of the others and I'd like to see other opinions on the subject

I have tried YiShow also but it was very buggy. It never was stable on my NR70V. I have found everything that YiShow offers in ZLauncher with the stability that is solid and support that exceeds any software.

But I would say that if you are happy with YiShow stick with it, and who cares what anyone else is using.

(Did I just say that?)

Zlauncher does all that, but has proved more stable for me. As of version 2.3, ZL even has a great file manager. Functionally, I'd say ZL and YiShow are pretty close, with the rest of the pack lagging considerably.

If you like YiShow, especially if you registered it already, then stay with what you like. If you haven't registered it, I'd recommend ZL as one heck of a bargain for the price.

I've paid for YiShow and used it until I found that ZLauncher offered me more. I was reluctant at first to jump on the ZLauncher bandwagon, primarily because of its large size, but I learned to live with it because of the flexibility, features and great developer support.

I used YiShow for the last several months and was reluctant to try any others. In doing so, I find I really like ZLauncher. There is only one thing I miss on ZLauncher that I had on YiShow and that is the smaller icons. Other than that Im very happy. I especially like the way zlauncher handles my memory stick. If anyone knows how to get the smaller icons gimme a holler. Cheers.

Absolutely Awesome! Thank you so much! That wraps it up for me, zlauncher rules :)

It's possible that Yi Bing has made a few enemies here (count me in) for his total lack of support for his product. That may be the reason for the non-existant mentioning of YiShow.

Personally I love YiShow... I had it on my NR70V and never had any problems with it.

Then I got my NZ90. I set it up with all my old software and then downloaded the latest version of YiShow (using the handandgo email that I got when I purchased it) which is 5.3 (came out on 03/23) and installed it.

It's worked perfectly... just like it did on my NR. So I guess I'm one of the few that still like it and have had no problems. I echo all the things that shieldprod said in the beginning of this post in support of YiShow as well.

Also, I have Zlauncher 2.3 and have been testing it, but it has caused a fatal error nearly time I've tried to use it.
Yishow has errored twice and both times were right after I ran silver screen. I have since deleted SS.
I have a 710 and It does have a limited screen res and color depth, but Yishow looks good and seems to work. I do like Megalauncher's tap and hold feature... but I am a major Star Trek fan and I thing the LCARS skin for ML is horrible. The SS LCARS skin is even worse IMHO. On the other hand, I have made a background for YS the looks great to me

and, I am now working on a LCARS skin for YiShow.

I'm playing with ZLauncher as well, that was a nice find. My question, related: is there any way to set the view on a per-tab basis? I'd prefer some of my tabs with big icons, others as small, and others as lists. (Presently using CRS-Launcher, but looking for memory stick functionality.)

ML4.3 can be a clean look.  Below is a screenshot of it.  I can collapse the bottom and top tool bars if cleaner looking is desired.
