I upgraded from my T3 to a TX and have run into the following problem.
Everything came over fine, except I have no tool bar nor a imput area. I took Fiality out of the mix before I installed so that should not be it. Bottom line is that I have half the screen and no toolbar.
Any thoughts?

Try the ultimate cold reboot and return to factory original settings. Only thing I can think of.

I never owned a T3, but I understand that Palm released a system extension sometime after T3's launch. The two programs are called AppSlipRotate.prc and StatusBarLib.prc. No later device (T5, TX) requires them and hence they should not be installed. Did you, by any chance, also install those two programs on your new TX (i.e. during your first hotsync)?
Cheers.

rcartwr, I second STBXXL. I've seen messages almost identical to yours after the T5 and then the Lifedrive came out. I believe in every case, it was because the two T3 files got copied to the new devices.

Did you thoroughly and precisely follow Palm's upgrade directions? I suspect not; and, as a result, you have installed system and preferences files from your T3 that are incompatible with the TX. Hard reset and do again, using the directions at palm.com/support upgrade. Also, AFAIK there is presently no compatible version of Fitaly for the TX and will likely never be one unless yesterday's announcement is withdrawn.

DT, I would have had they left them up at the Palm site.<G>
Fitaly I can live without.
