Hi,

I think the LifeDrive could be the perfect PDA for me. There is just one point...

I have a digital camera which uses Compact Flash cards to store the pictures on. I would like to copy those images over to the LifeDrive (without using other devices).
The LifeDrive does not have a CompactFlash slot but one for SD cards.

Do you have any idea how I could solve my problem?

Use a CompactFlash-to-SD adapter so you can put the SD cards you use in your LD also in your camera. I'm doing this and it works fine.

I bought this adapter (http://shop.brando.com.hk/panasonicsdcfadapter.php) from Brando. This is a CompactFlash type I adapter, for thinner CF cards. If your camera supports CompactFlash type II cards, you could use this one (http://shop.brando.com.hk/cftosdmmccardadapter.php).http://www.1src.com/forums/images/smilie/images/smilies/wink.gif

I always thought SD was smaller than CF, how would it fit in the slot?
I have a CF, it works in my NX80 (CF Slot), and it is bigger than my Dad's SD card.

You put the SD card inside the SD-CF adapter, and the adapter inside the camera. Not the other way around.
Sorry for the confusion when I wrote "CompactFlash-to-SD".

Oh, ok. Is it slow? I was thinking of getting a SD to CF adapter, it would be cheaper than buying a MS ;)

It's even faster then using CF (I'm using this combination in my D70).

thanks for that info DD_ (and snark). i use D70s for my work and have been using a nikon coolwalker to back up CF image files while on the move...but backing up to my LD would be much better - larger screen for image review with clients too. :)
