Hi
When I had my UX50 I would hotsync via bluetooth all the time and it was nice and quick (even installing programmes). Bluetoothing with my TH55 takes an age (about 4mins+) even when I'm just updating memo's, datebook etc and not installing programmes. Is it because of the Organizer software? Any Ideas how to speed the process up?

Thanks

I'm no expert, but its probably part of the power saving features of the TH55.

Well, i would just say that the hotsync software is screwed up. They didn't made palm desktop so well. It could much faster even using usual usb. Though I don't thing that bluetooth's/wlan's transfer speed drops even th55 uses hhd/dsp to save battery or i'm wrong? But I know that bluetooth is in the very end slower than wlan.

But myself i don't even use palm desktop or hotsync anymore. It is just a lot more easier and faster to download all strait from the internet to th55's ms. Palm desktop is quite useless i think. And for backups i have three backups always on my 1gb ms and two on my another 512mb ms which i take sometimes just for case.

I can't compare with any other Clie, but I've noticed that Bluetooth on my Zodiac 2 is much faster than the TH55's.
