OK, I'm sold on the T|X; I'll be getting one as soon as I can round up the money. But I have one nagging question for Palm:

Why eliminate the Home icon from the Status Bar and keep the Menu icon?

Every Palm OS version since 3.5 has supported pulling down the Menu Bar by tapping the Title area. IMHO, the Menu icon has been superfluous for some time. So when Palm decided an icon had to go to make room for the WiFi icon, why didn't the Menu icon get the heave ho?

Fortunately, SharkTXfix has given us back the Home icon, so all is well. I still wonder though, why is the Menu icon still considered useful?

It depends on the user I think... I for one have seldom tapped the Title area to access the menu bar. I don't also use the home icon. I usually press the hard keys.

I can live too with the hardware Home button.

What about keeping the Find button where it is, and having to do a swipe to launch the Home function? So the opposite of what SharkTXfix does. Just for those apps that remap the hardware keys.
