I've spent more time than I care to think about trying to find out why I'm having the problems I am...
Anyway, I've taken a divx 4.12 simpsons episode, used tmpgenc, used image converter then sent it on its way to my MS. Load in it MP, looks good and sounds good - the latter for only about a minute. That's problem... sound... or lack thereof.
I read that a vcd compliant video can be converted, but I've found it looks bad, so I increased the kbps in tmpgenc and then converted (and it looks much better)... Would changing the kbps from 1150 to something higher cause a problem?
I also read that divx 5 can be converted w/o any problems using image converter (4.12 doesn't work at least)... Is this true? I would test it out myself, but the computer my clie is hooked up to doesn't have access to the Internet.
*Any* help would be appreciated.
