Hello, i am new of this very good forum.I wont ask if someone hawe tryed the launcher ''Ispin''1.6 or older on the LD.

I think that maybe is a good sw,in the site speak about a multitasking(on Palm OS???).Sorry for my english,but i am italian.Thank's at all

Non penso che sia elaborazione multitask reale. Penso che debba avere programss speciali per fare quello. Se avete un nuovo PDA, quindi suggerisco che trovate i lanciagranate come ZLauncher per usare. Non multitask, ma è i buoni lanciagranate. Ciò è tradotta, io realmente non parla italiano, appena in modo da sapete.

Can I also say that Zlauncher is not present on my 'relaunched' hardset, reinstalled LD. I am prefdb error free for over a week now. It may not be ZL, but everything is faster now and no soft resets at all so far (and I reinstalled pretty much everything else). Agendus launches witgh about 1-1.5s delay, notepad, psmemo, splashid are instantaneous - yes instantanneous....

go figure..

ZL in itself usually isnt a problem. It may slow the system a little, but even my TH is fast with ZL installed. As you use it more and more, you get more junk building up in the background. Since I know the important files, I sometimes just go through the file list and delete all of the ones I know I do not need, and after a soft reset, my TH is back to full speed.

Ispin ha passato con molte revisioni e credo che ora sia molto stabile sulla maggior parte dei handhelds. Naturalmente, potete provarli sempre e se non siete sicuri a questo proposito, potete sostegno il vostro handheld in primo luogo.

I know very good ZL(5.20)and i have used on my TC with very satisfaction without problem.But in the beginning of my use of LD i have frequently reset.In the first time i removed Shark cache and ZL.From this moment, my LD go to be more stable and with an absolutely accettable lag time.Now i'm curious for try a new launcher,but maybe is better i don't touch this balance...

PS: i have in my hand for sometime a PDA whit Symbian(nokia 9500)or whit PPC(Toshiba) and i consider the pros/cons(memory,screen/lags,crash) i think that LD is a good machine...

I hope that my language is comprensible...Thank's for the Ita translation...

I forget ... after remove SC and ZL i restart whit a Hard reset....and reistalli all sw one to one...

Brad,

I am pretty sure that my problems with the PrefsDB error started soon after I installed ZL. Cant be sure of course and I dont want to do the test since my LD is pretty stable at the moment. So, ZL not proven guilty but I wouldnt be suprised if there is something going on!
