From Idealog: "Frustrated that Apple has yet to deliver a display-capable remote for iTunes, I decided to use VNC and the Palm TX to come up with my own solution." [details (http://www.1src.com/?m=show&id=1276)]

Sailing Clicker is much faster, even though it does not show the screen :(

Thats funny, because Tyler (Sharky) released an app to do exactly the same thing quite a while ago. While we all remember SharkAudio, which was designed to give a better interface to the music player on Clies, few remember SharkTunes, the iTunes controller for wireless palms. It scales down the interface to a songs list, and gives you pause, play, forward, and back controls for iTunes. It requires a client too, but not VNC. It was a small Windows app that just passed on script commands to iTunes, which has an API to do this very thing.

VNC also works over Bluetooth, but is almost unusably slow...

Too bad SharkTunes is only for Windows :(
