I swapped a second-hand PEG-TJ37 with PEG-NX70V/U just last week.
I was impress by the big screen display of this device that is why I made the deal knowing very well that my PEG-TJ37 is a newer model.
I am just curious about the meaning of the U in the model name of PEG-NX70V/U.
Came accross with other model names like PEG-NX70V/G and PEG-NX70V/H.
Any difference on these models?
Which one is better? newer?
Hope somebody can answer this thread,I am very curious indeed of what it stand (the U and the G and H as well)

As I recall, /U, /G and /H designates where the handheld was released. /U is N. America, /G in Asia, etc.

Try a Google search for PEG-NX80V/U, PEG-NX80V/G, etc.

Good Morning-

The "U" stands for "USA", and means it was a model designed for use in the United States (and Canada I would presume). All of the menus, etcetera, are in English.

Not sure what the "G" and "H" units were designed for.

As far as I know, the /U stands for USA, and some may have a /E which of course if for Europe, however /G and /H puzzle me.

My curiousity is satisfied, thanks guys.
I thought "U" means "Updated" :-) as in cellphone model with the "i" suffix which to me means "Improved".
But then again a "j" came up with a sony-ericsson model after the release of the "i" model.
I guess the only difference between the "U", "G", "H" are language support, the features and functionality being the same.

The Euro TH55 and NX73 have bluetooth, while the Americas versions do not :(
