Hiya, seein how there are something on the TX that could be a lil better, was wondering if you could fix the TX :). One is the landscape, could you make it where we have a preference to which app we want to be in landscape and other in portrait. Tired of keepin on switchin views.
One other thing is the hard home button can only be configured for favorites or applications, nothing else. Could it be possible to make a program where it can override this and map it to anything else we like *Like Zlauncher* :D. Thats all I can see for now, if anything else people can put request as well ^_^. Thanks for takin the time to read this :D.
We also need a Home icon in its right place.

I tried this last night and mapped the first hardware button to contacts and changed the other three to mirror my T3 set up. Much to my dismay I found that I could not get back to the launcher as I completely wiped out an active home button. There has to be a way to change the DIA!!!!! Please oh please put the home icon back where it belongs.

I tried to create suich a landscape/portrait mode app, but there is a hidden cache in the PalmOS that cannot be changed. Some apps always restore themselves to the last user-set data, which is taken from this cache. Thus, the changes usually arent preserved...

hey! didn't see this until now. Tam- the problem there is that your code (sysNotifyAppLaunchingEvent) runs BEFORE the app's PilotMain code. Therefore, it can switch itself however it pleases.
the trick is to set a delay (through a one second alarm or otherwise, the alarm would probably be too slow so i'd patch a later API) and THEN implement the change. the app will receive the notify and adjust accordingly.

Here is nother request. I don't know if its possible or not, but if it is, it would be great. Can there be a program where you can change the overall hue/saturation of the display? TX is overall a good machine, but I just HATE the bluish tint that is added, makes people look lil purplish >_<.
Edit:
Recorded a lil video (4mb) showin the TX and TH screens. I guess since the TX is like a buisness PDA, most won't mind that light blue tint, but if used for movies and pictures...>.<
