Posted this on the NZ thread, no reply so trying my luck on this thread instead.

1. I uninstalled everything (palm desktop etc) from my pc at office (Win ME) and installed the CD that came w/ the NZ90. I synced and all my data are on my NZ including apps that i don't need such as MSgate & MSautorun. I can delete the MSgate but MSautorun just won't simply go away!

2. I would like to continue using my T665 as back-up but when i tried to sync the pc asked for drivers for the t665??? Obviously i had uninstalled the previous version of palm desktop as i don't want to have any conflict when i installed the nz90. But i thought by installing the latest version of apps from the nz cd it would have all the drivers already. Or am i just plain stupid?? Is there anyway i can continue syncing both my t and nz on the same pc??

Thanks guys. Any help appreciated. :)

Install ROMHide that comes free with the T665C (and probably other Clies too).. it allows you to "hide" and apps that are in ROM. I hide all the MS ones, as I have no need for them because I have a seperate Memory Stick reader/writer.

Hope that helps

thanx for the tip killah fury it does help somewhat but..

u see... the nz90 doesn't come w/ MSautorun and MSgate. Since i've never used any of them it's abot annoying that they are occupying the already limited space in the NZ. Btw, the MSautorun is located in RAM of the NZ90, and afaik i should be able to delete it but as i state in my first post it just refused to be deleted.

anybody?

rant: i gonna post this one at the NZ90 thread, hopefully the mods won't be mad at me for double posting. Since my post is about both the t665 & NZ90, i should be ok right?? :)

1) Hard reset

2) Delete everything from your username / backup folder on your desktop

3) HotSync to get your PIM info back (addresses, events, memos, to dos)

4) Reinstall apps on an individual basis

2) Delete everything from your username / backup folder on your desktop

That's the one!
