This is an odd issue. I have looked over a few of the forums and found similiar questions.
MY Clie UX50 has started acting up as of late. I go into Preferences and connect to my wireless router. The "Wi-Fi" LED does not blink and it connects just fine. However, when I exit "preferences" and go to access my email it takes over a mintue, and several attempts to connect. After that it can connect just fine. If I disconnet I have to go through the process again. This has been going on for at least a week or so.
P.S. With my UX50 and my NX80 I cannot connect at Panera Bread. I can connect downtown, 4th street has Wi-Fi, with my NX80, but my UX-50 has always had issues connecting on 4th street. I NEVER had this problem with my NX80
It is almst like it is stuck when it initislly tries to connect, but once it gets started everything is fine.
I do hope that I will not have to open up my Clie just to fiddle with the chip so it stays in place.
Soft reset does not fix the problem either
