MemoryStick Select - What happened

This morning, PIC had a story up which included some information about a new Sony Memory Stick called Memory Stick Select, which would be available in April.  The MS Select was described as being the components for two 128MB memory sticks in one casing, thereby allowing 256MB, partitioned into two 128MB segments, with a physical switch on the card to toggle back and forth between them. 

The story is now gone from PIC and I was surprised that nobody on ClieSource has commented on the news.
