broken screen :(

my screen has broken. it has many lines fragmented on it, but no external scratches.

the backlight turns on, but it is buggered. i am in the UK (london), and is there is any way that sony will fix it??

if its a european model sony will repair it europe (with some luck...)
I (in europe) had a dead US NX80, sent that for repiar to san diego, got it back working in one week, for a hundred bucks. didn't expect that, though and already bought a UX50 on ebay for 200 Es.
since it is the screen, things may become more difficult..
no experience on that...
maybe looking on ebay for a new one is the cheapes and easiest ?
