I am trying ZLauncher based on the positive comments I've seen here. It's a very impressive launcher. I have used Silverscreen and LauncherX primarily.
My problem is that I can't get the Trash Bin to work on ZLauncher. I drag icons in and they don't stick or delete. I am using a T615.
Anybody else have this problem, or any ideas.
Thanks,
David

Depends which trash bin to which you are dragging. In compact mode, the trash bin icon only provides the bin's contents. If you drag to the larger pop up toolbar trash bin icon (or use the side arrows to bring it up and drag to it), it should work as advertised. Here's a screenshot of that toolbar on the screen. I tapped the tiny arrow at the bottom right of the screen to bring it up, but dragging the app icon to the lower right of the screen will bring it up as well. The trash bin is on the far right.
I've noticed that most of the tiny compact-view tool icons aren't active in the drag-and-drop sense.

Thanks for your response. I have brought up the toolbar and tried in the "tabs" mode. Neither has made a difference, I still cannot use the trash bin (large or small). I was successful deleting a shortcut, but have no luck with apps. Any other thoughts?
BTW, I really like your home page and have had it bookmarked for quite awhile. It helped me figure out how to use my memory stick and I refer to it for info on apps. Nice job. Very clearly written.
Where did you get the background and theme on your sreenshot? Very cool.

Just for me to understand how far the process gets for you. Out of the following steps what doesn't happen
1. Drag app icon to be deleted towards the bottom of the screen
2. Bottom toolbar with Trash Bin on far right appears
3. Drag app icon over to top of trash bin
4. Delete Application window opens up (with 5 checkboxes - I have the top three checked)
5. Click OK
6. "Please Wait" followed by App deleted
If you hold down the stylus on the app icon and use the Trash Bin in the pop up menu that appears does that work?

David,
In addition to Pae's questions, where is the app you wish to delete located on your device--RAM, MS, or under PiDirect/MSMount? I need to poke around this one a bit, as it should work if you follow Pae's sequence, unless the app is in the PiDirect or MSMount directories.
I made the background from a picture I downloaded from a NASA site years ago and used occasionally as a Windows wallpaper. I used Microsoft Picture Editor that comes with M$ Office XP to resize, crop, and reformat it as a jpg. The theme is CopperDeck II available at PalmGear as noted above.

Thank you for your responses. I think I found the problem. In Dialog Setup I had checked "Hide delete confirmation dialog" and was not getting the five questions. I've got it figured out now.
Also, I downloaded thebackground, etc. Thanks again

Interesting. The apps still should have been deleted, you just wouldn't be asked each time. I guess that depends on the which of the five options were checked.
