Been searching the web for a new T3 with zero luck. Anyone know where to look?

Try looking in 2003. :D

In all seriousness, though, you will have a very difficult time trying to find a *new* T3 anywhere. They have been discontinued for a long time now.

I love my T3, but the battery is much to be desired. Get a Lifedrive.

Yup, exactly what blues said. My T3 is almost two years old now, and the battery keeps getting worse and worse. I am interested in seeing what the TX is all about, and perhaps I'll give up my T3. I don't, however, like that the only way to reach home is through the hard key; that may be a deal breaker for me. Perhaps I can stretch my T3's life long enough for the LifeDrive 2. :)

I bought a Pa!m external battery for my T|T3, so I have solved it's battery issues. At least until I feel like upgrading.

I got my T3 from here (http://www.luzerntech.com/Items/LTS-T30000-000?), and they're still listing them - don't know if they'll ship to you, worth a look?
Mine really was 'as new' - not a single blemish. They also used to list on ebay - not sure if they still do. Sniped mine for a bargain!

I have one that was a replacement I got from Palm. I got it three months ago and barely used it.
It is up for auction on eBay

EDIT: Sold !

There's a store in Mexico www.sanborns.com.mx that sales brand-new boxed Tungsten T3's. The cost is way high for my taste but then again, this is by far the best palm out there with a 320x480 screen.

Also, it's the last one with a real aluminum shell.

happy bidding!
Did you really get $249 for your T3? WOW! If that's true, I'm impressed!
With the TX selling for $299, used T3's should be selling for alot less than that.

I'm certainly glad I got my price, but then again, those babies are no longer in production and the sheer quality build of the T3 is worth every penny. At the same price, I would hesitate buying a TX.

Hmm, that is interesting....I plan to upgrade my T3 with a TX very soon. Mine has very few scratches, has always had a screen protector, has all screws, and a Sony screen. Perhaps I can get enough out of it to justify the purchase to my wife even sooner! :) Unfortunately, it does have a loose slider (always has), which the the primary reason I'm upgrading. I have always hated the slider!

But honestly, if you really want to get a brand new T|T3, eBay should be your friend ;).

Considering that the only real difference between a T|X and a T|3 is the built-in WiFi capability, I think the high resale price for the old one is quite justified.

After all, the T|X is a few Mhz slower, has an ugly T5-design case, a noisy screen and is pure plastic!

Realistically, the T|X has to be considered to be one of the best PDA's on the market right now. I can't imagine anyone would actually trade a brand new T|X for a brand new T|3.

Don't get me wrong, I love my T|3. And if anyone want's to buy it off of me for anywhere near $200, your more than welcome. I'd be getting the T|X in a heartbeat!

I respect your opinion on the T|X but I simply can't agree on this PDA being the best of the market. The processor is the same as the one used on the Zire72, the pda's clumsy design is exactly the same as that of the slow-going T5. Memory is down from the T5 capabilities and the only 'brilliant' idea is that you don't need a card in order to access Wifi, just like the LifeDrive has been doing for half a year.

It's nice to have a palm as featured as this one for only $300 (in the US at least) but considering that there's another palm looming on the horizon, and that we've been waiting for something more meaningful for quite a long time now, in my opinion it is too little, too late.

Finally, the T|3 is by all means a very fast PDA with the same capabilities as those on the T|X and is also much better made with better materials than the T|X. Also, it is more practical to carry around.

Anyway, I would like to hear your arguments on the T|X.

Cheers!
