insane hotsync problem... it kills my comp

ok so here is my dillema... when i click on "modem" on the hotsync tab or i get into "setup" and then try and click on "local, modem, or network" my computer instantly reboots... wtf?... someone give me an idea of what my be the problem... hotsync does work via cable and ir... but i am trying to setup BT... as an aside, this is an 1ghz pentium, 512 ddr pc

The first thing I would try is uninstalling and reinstalling your Palm Desktop, preferably with the latest version available.
