I bought a third party, mail order power supply/charger for my NX70V. It has the correct connector to plug directly into the NX70V without the cradle.

But unlike Sony's power sources which output 5.2Vdc-5.7Vdc (ac units) or the battery power source (6Vdc from batteries), this unit has an output of 12Vdc.

I asked Sony support two times to tell me what the input limits on the NX70V was and they keep telling me what their power supply output is.

Does anybody know what the NX70V powering limit is? This third party power supply that has the nice orange LED light when charging and green when full, seems to have an excessively high voltage rating. Any experience with these power supplies being a problem?
