Hello,

I was wondering if somebody could tell me a good link to use with iSilo to get an EXTENDED 5 day forecast?

I was hoping that the weather page was in color/attractive looking too.

I just want the weather, maybe a little news and I was hoping to make a link to get the latest video releases.

I am on a MacOSX so Avantgo is out so I thought I would try iSilo.

I have been following the links for good iSilo pages but I guess I am an idiot cause I can't find the pages.

Do I have to manually make the pages everytime I want them updated in iSilo?

Here's the link I use for Accuweather:

http://www.accuweather.com/pda/pda_5dy.asp?thisZip=99999

(type in your own zip code in place of the 99999)

I just started using iSilo, too, with OSX (10.2), and I like it. I bet you're not an idiot--I think that a lot of the information out here about how to set up iSilo is over-complicated.
Here's how I set it up:

In iSiloX, click File> New, then Control>Add to add a new URL. (See the tutorial for how to set up each link.) You can add as many URL's as you want to this document. Then save the iSilo document (I saved mine as "links.ixl" in a folder called "isilo converted" in my Documents folder).

When I want to download the updated pages each day, I just open the "links.ixl" in iSiloX, and and click "Convert All." Then Hotsync, and "Voila!"

Hope this helps.

I'll second the vote for AccuWeather! (Regardless of HOW you access it . . . )

You should check out turic.com, and d/l the ixl file for iSiloX. Hundreds of pda-friendly urls. As for a weather site, I like weather.com.

I tried all of the above, but my local news is availiable, ,so I get my weather there.

ditto the referral to turcic.com!! Opened up the whole world of web clipping to me!!
