Okay, hopefully someone can offer some suggestions...

I just picked up the Game Controller accessory (PEGA-GC10) for my almost new Clie PEG-SJ33. The goal was to play [legal] Gameboy roms using Phoinix 1.2. When I initially ran Phoinix (without FastCPU installed), I was receiving rates of 0.7-0.9 for the performance (bottom-right status thingie in Phoinix). So, in a feeble attempt to squeeze a little more performance out of the unit, I installed FastCPU and cranked Phoinix's rating up to 99Mhz.

The game looks (and runs) fantastic at 99Mhz, but my Game Controller does not work now! Turning FastCPU's setting for Phoinix back down to 66Mhz makes the Game Controller function just fine. Oh, and I also tried it with the other games that came on the [Game Controller] installation CD -- same symptom -- would not work at all at 99Mhz, but worked perfectly at 66Mhz.

What would cause this? Any ideas as to what might fix it??

That program probably increases the clock speed of other parts of they system besides just the CPU. The port the controller is connected through is probably out of whack with the controller.

I doubt there's anything you can do to change that.
