I use Engadget as a pretty reputable news source, and when they say they have it in their hands, I believe them. I also believe this is real.

Notice from the Endgadget first look: NO BUILT-IN WIFI!!!
That alone is enough to bypass this one. :(
:D
EV-DO is pretty much as good as WiFi just not as widely available just yet. It gives high-speed internet anywhere. So, there is no need for WiFi. Although, if its going to have a 1.3mp camera, BT, and more memory they might as well throw it in there. As, I think, engadget pointed out, its the 700w which means there might be a 700p (for palm). I don't think Palm will have one of their best devices running windows mobile. I do think they will start using both OS's to increase there market share as much as possible. They are probably waiting for the Linus version or some type of Cobalt before releasing the next Palm. Then again, this is palm, they are very, very slow to react.

I beleive that Palm Inc is now starting to wastre a load of money into a sector which they cannot win! Competition is simply too strong IMHO!!!

Treo is a winning name, thats why they can charge whatever they please for it and people will buy it. They probably will only get stronger sales. I know, HTC is selling phones cheap, yes, but HTC doesnt have a grip over the world and certainly not America. The Treo name is well known in North America, and has that Brand Name recognition. People pay premiums for them.
