Syncing multiple Clies on 1 PC?

I tried searching the forums for this and I couldn't find a valid answer on the web, so here goes. The situation is this - my girlfriend owns a N710C (which is synced to her PC) and I'm about to get a TG50. I want to know if we will both be able to sync on the same PC (using 2 separate cradles, obviously) without information overlapping and such. How does this work? And more importantly, is this possible? I'm hoping for some good advice on this. Thanks. PS - I owned a Clie awhile back but got rid of it to get an Ipaq, which I'm now selling because the syncing on it works like 10% of the time...

You should be able to as long as you chose different usernames for your devices, but don't quote me on that. I tried letting my girlfriend hotsync her visor on the same PC I sync'ed my NR70V and I had problems. Though that might be because they weren't both clie's or because I tried to get honsyncing to work across usernames (via WinXP fast user switching) or maybe a little of both.

Not to mention that I was trying to have my NR70V sync to outlook while hers synced to Palm Desktop. I think ultimately my problem was the result of the Sony Palm software being slightly different from the Handspring one.

So maybe since you're syncing 2 Clie's you'll have more luck.

I've recently have both and NR70V and an NX70V. I'm planning on selling the NR, but I may try syncing both to the same computer before I do. My suggestion is that if you try before me, make sure you back up your clie's before you try =)

As dark79 said, it should not be a problem with the data, as long as usernames are different. I do it with my wife's T615C and my T665C, and there are no problems. It even worked fine when she was had a Palm Vx and I had the T615C.

The only place you may have a problem is with the USB driver. I don't know if they use the same one or not, or if they would interfere with each other.

I synced my SJ30 on my parent's computer running Win 98 and the Palm desktop software for Handspring 4.1 and I didn't have any problems.

Dark79 maybe you had problems sycing your girlfriend's visor because the Visor includes the expense program.

I sync my NX and also sync my wifes' NR with no problems.

I sync my NX70V and my Wife's SJ22 with two different cradles/cables. It took a while for me to get MS Import/MS Export to work with both, but everything is working fine. I had to install and uninstall the softare several times, and since I'm not sure exactly what I did to finally get everything up and running, I can't tell you exactly what I did to get them both to work.
