how to start over with a NR70V

if someone could be so kind as to tell me how to delete an old user from a clie and start completely over, it would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to hard reset. Hold down the power button while pressing the reset pin. Let go and press up to delete old data.

i did that but it will not reset. it just.. restarts
i probably sound really dumb but i just dont understand it doesnt seem to want to work :(

Reset = Restart :)
Hold down the power slider, while pressing the reset button. Let go of the reset button, but not the power switch. Once it shows the 'Palm Powered' screen, let go of the power slider (button you use to turn it on ;)) and it will ask yo if you want to erase all data. Press the up button
