SJ22 vs Zire 71

Just curious, but is anyone else in the same predicament as me? I'm trying to choose between the Zire 71 (when it comes out 1-2 months from now) or an SJ22. I favor the SJ22 slightly since it's cheaper (US$200), whereas the Zire 71 will sell at US$250 probably. However, it seems like Zire 71 has tons of features like a camera along with a CPU that runs at 144MHz!

Is it worth spending $50 more for a Zire 71, instead of getting an SJ22?

Of course I would go for the Zire IF it's available now. You should wait a couple of months. I'm sure the price of the SJ22 will drop and once the Zire 71 is released, then you can make a judgement.

zire 71 is more likely to be for $299, but even at that price i would definitely go for zire => palm os5 is a BIG advantage ..
and you will maybe even like the built in camera in zire ..

I'll second that the Zire 71 is most likely going to be $300.

You have to ask your self if the additional features are worth it to you. For $100 you get a faster processor, an MP3 player, a camera, and almost certainly a better internal speaker.

Of course, all of this is based on rumors. You are taking a risk of waiting to buy a handheld that isn't even real, or might end up costing $400.

Believe it or not they come in useful from time to time.

I wouldn't want one on my camera only because I have one on my clie.

The Z-71 and the SJ22 are so vastly different that they shouldnt even be compared IMO. If you can afford the Z71, then definitely go for that....
