Hello
I am a happy owner of a NR70V...
I mainly use it for mp3s, videos, images and photos...
NR70V is my first Clie and I am very happy with it, but I would like to have a more "powerful" version... and one running PalmOS 5... do you think it is a mistake to get a NX70V now that NZ90 will come out?

I upgraded to the NX from the NR because of the faster processor and the better camera. I am VERY happy I did, I take a lot of pics at work and the processor is so much faster, esp. for graphics intensive books on iSilo.

When the NX came out I think the NR prices dropped around 100 bucks. Don't know if the NX prices have dropped yet, but I'm sure they will.

I will not be upgrading to the NZ because  its too expensive, too big, and I want to see what's next.

Good Luck

if you can do it for cheap i.e. sell your nr and pay the difference for an nx i would say it's deffinately worth it. But then again if you waited this long, maybe it's worth it to you to wait another 6 or so months for os6... your choice.

Enjoy.

I won't bet anything on OS6 being on time. Palm Source has indicated they will do a phased in approach via 5.1, 5.2, 5.x so they can ramp up the feartures. Most likely OS6 devices will be out end of year, early next year.

I plan on making my Clie last a while, or until they come out with 32MB devices. I am kind of warming up to a NX70V instead of an NX60. Since I have to wait a couple weeks for NX60 with OS5.1 I may just go NX70V.

yah, my actual guess for os6 release is december of this year.

Enjoy.
