Hi,

I have mislaid my install CD for the PEGA-CC5 GPS car cradle and I need to re-install the Sony car cradle software following a hard reset. I have Googled extensively and checked the Sony support web site, where there is only an update. At the moment I am completely stuck and cannot use the Clie in the car. (By the way, I don't need the Navman software, the application/maps are safely stored on the CF card. I can see the car cradle software in my backup but it will not re-install from a backup, apparently Sony require that the install authenticates from the CD after a hard reset).

If anyone can e-mail me just the car cradle installer software, or provide a link to the file or an ISO I would be really grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Joe

I'm on http://www.sonyclie.org/ with the same name. If the site doesn't have the CD image in the downloads section, pm me via SonyClie.org and I'll bounce you the .prc file.

After a hard reset, you can get it back with just the installer file. I've done it plenty as I had a conflict with the Car Cradle .prcs and Agendus.

I'd attach the installer here, but I doubt if it would work.

Hi Camilo,

Thank you very much for replying to my request for the card cradle software, I really appreciate it. I have sent you a message via SonyClie.org.

I think the drivers page on SonyClie.org is a great idea, there must be lots of users who need to re-install something from time-to-time and having the files in one place is an excellent idea.

Thanks again, Joe

Hi Camilo,

Just to confirm, I checked the drivers and downloads at SonyClie.org and couldn't find the car installer software so if you can send me the .prc I would be very grateful.

Regards, Joe
