I switched from an N760C to a TG50 last week. I had no problems with either with the actual syncing of e-mail, but on the TG50, when I run the Clie Mail app, looking at the list of e-mails, the sender column is not containing the e-mail address of the sender. Instead, it shows "EX:/O=" and the beginning of a pathname. This happens only on mail sent from within my company; mail from users outside displays the sender e-mail address correctly.
Further investigation of the header of a problem e-mail shows that the sender line is actually showing the first part of the "From:" section of the e-mail header, as you might expect. The only problem is, there are quite a lot of characters in this field for mail originating internal to my company. If Clie Mail showed the end of this field instead of the beginning, I would be able to see the sender name.
I had no problems with viewing e-mail on my N760C -- the sender line showed up fine. My guess is that it is a difference between the Palm Mail v4.0 on my N760C vs. the Clie Mail v2.0.1 on my TG50.
Any ideas on what to do here?
