I finally got my BT adapter for my SJ30... I plugged it in to the clie', turned on the nokia, they saw each other, np... I set up my dial-up internet connection on my palm and told it to use the modem on the nokia... It dialed up and connected perfectly... I used it for two days, called tmobile to make sure I was not affecting my data bucket and sure enough, my gprs amount has not changed... Only my minutes... Excellent... So now on free nights and weekends, i can get unlimited (albeit slow) internet access via my clie'

_very_ slow (9600 baud slow)!

I currently have the same setup, but I use IR to dial out with my 6590 using Cingular. I wish these cel companies would put together decently priced GPRS plans so we could use the higher speed data connections now available...

Maybe you guys could help me here...I have a TG50 and a t68i with Cingular. The TG50 and phone see each other no problem via Bluetooth. I can use the TG50 to make the t68i dial out to my dial-up internet connection. However, about 1-3 seconds after the phone starts dialing it hangs up. After a couple of tries, the TG50 reports that there's no carrier.

But, if I just use the t68i to call the same number (as if I'm making a phone call), I get the "modem sounds" from the other end.

What's going on here?
