Hello from Germany,
I just got my new Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard delivered today and tried to install it on my Sony Clie TH55.
I know that this model is normaly not in the compability chart for the Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard, but the TH55 runs under the latest version of Palm OS, so I thought there might be a way to get it to work somehow.
First of all I tried to run the driver from the included CD, but this created an error in the "MYRAPIDll dll" just during the running installation process. I read various tips in the internet, but didn't really understand what might have went wrong or what I could do about it at last.
Because of this I tried it another way and downloaded the shareware version of "Bluetooth Keyboard 1.0" at Palmgear.com. That's a program supposed to work with all kinds of bluetooth keyboards.
I managed to install the program on my TH55 via the docking station and then tried to create the connection with the keyboard. Unfortunately the TH55 wasn't able to locate any bluetooth based hardware.
Just btw.
The batteries were inserted
The keyboard was open
It's the german QWERTZ version of the keyboard
I'm really confused now, because I really can't imagine the source of these problems. Are there any standart solutions one can think of?
Are there any other drivers for bluetooth keyboards I could install or is there a way to get the normal Stowaway driver to work?
Please help out.
Thanks in advance.
Andreas.
