How do you turn off the access light?

Is there a way to turn off the drive access light? It can be annoying especially when I'm using TCPMP.

I've been hoping someone would put out a simple utility to do this since about the second day I had a LifeDrive. Watching a movie with that light constantly blinking is maddening. I've picked up the habit of putting my thumb over it, but that's not a very satisfying solution.
