The LD I bought in HK does include the CJKOS for displaying Chinese. However, it seems it only supports BIG5 and GB. If I open an Unicode text file using iSilo, all characters go funny. I had tried a few others and got no luck. Anyone has any experience to share? Thanks!
I don't have a build in version of CJKOS. I am using v4.621 which has 2 files for Unicode tranlation table: UCS_ChineseBIG5 and UCS_ChineseGB for the traditional chinese. See if you see this two files in your LD.
Sorry that's all I could help you with. I don't exectly know what the unicode is used for.

I had the same problem with japanese and isilo. Just change the settings for encoding in isilox, and it should fix the problem. I have no problem with japanese files in isilo now.
Good luck!

I just have time to come by. Thanks for your replies.
lkj, the version included is 4.63. It does have the files you mentioned but it seems no use. Do you mind sharing your settings in the CJKOS?
tk_421, no use. My iSilo does not have Unicode option. It only has UTF-8. I tried converting my files to UTF-8 and chose the same in iSilo but things weren't any better.
My work around was to convert the files in to BIG5 Code and choose the same encoding in iSilo. This works fine. However, since some characters in Unicode are not supported by BIG5, I have to replace those with the BIG5 supported characters. The converting process, therefore, may take up to 5 minutes or more than rather using the original unicode file.
