Removing Pre-Installed NZ Programs

Help somebody. I have a new NZ 90. It indicates that you have 16MB memory but only 11MB is available because of pre-installed programs taking up some space. How do you delete some of the pre-installed programs that I will not use like: Movie maker etc?

search the forums. can't remove preinstalled apps but you can get an extra 4.5mb of flash memory by using Jackflash

US NZ only has 3.4 megs available in flash RAM. The NX model has the 4.5 megs in flash RAM. Other language NZ models have even less due to the preinstalled language packs....

Yeah, Net Front almost fills that right up(flash RAM)... :D!

the missing 5mb ... (11mb available out of 16mb) ... isn't due to pre-installed files (like datebook movie player.... etc). Those programs are up in FLASH and really don't have an effect on INTERNAL RAM.

Sony has basically stated from the beginning ... that the NZ only has 11mb available out of the 16mb given. Just consider the other 5mb as ... non-configurable and non-recoverable swap space. Necessary (especially for multimedia things like movies...flash... etc).

Kinda a bumma... eh? Oh well... who needs the extra 5mb anyway???? *ducks from those throwing rotten tomatoes* ... hehehehehehe JK everyone... Of course.. the more AVAILABLE internal ram.. the better!!!!!!! :)
